The whole time we were in New York, I had coffee cravings, and I could never seem to fulfill them when they occurred.  I always wanted coffee at night, and despite the fact that there were Starbuckses around every corner, I just couldn't seem to find one that was open after 9pm when I always wanted it!  So after the whole locked theater debacle, even though it was almost midnight and I was in a bad mood, I finally got my coffee because there just happened to be an open Starbucks in the lobby of the hotel/theater (one thing you can count on Times Square for is businesses being open later than they are anywhere else in the city).  So I took a picture of the elusive open-after-9 Starbucks.  (The next day, of course.)  Told you I was weird.

A panorama shot courtesy of Uri that shows what we saw of Central Park from the top of Belvedere Castle that morning when we didn't have our camera.

The umbrella-wielding people are smarter than we.

The locked theater doors.  Oh how I love them.

The way cool painting that told us our camera was missing.

And its more-colorful-on-the-surface-but-somehow-just-not-as-good-though-still-pretty counterpart.

The obligatory Motorola sign picture.

Yes, New York is the Empire State.  No, I don't know what that means.  But they named a building after it.

Les ascenseurs art-decos.

Still the Empire State.

Macy's may or may not be the "world's largest store."  I think the consensus is "not."

The gargantuan Bjork-like-chick Levi's ad a block from Uri's apartment.  Yes, that IS the entire side of a building.

Sweet, sweet outlet...

The Hudson River right (and I mean right) outside our train between New York and Albany.

Yeah, so that's West Point Military Academy.  Very fortressesque.

So I realized that I never showed a groups shot of everyone that was there, so here it is.  Everyone but us, taken the night before we got there.  Marcus, Helen, Becky, Mary, Ryan, Glen, Brandon, Andie, Nathan, David.

So then I realized that the above shot also did not include Uri, our generous host.  So here he is, on the right, with Ryan, our other friend from high school, on the left.  Oh, and that's Lady Liberty in the middle.  Not sure what her first name is...
